“Jack’s Last Putt ” In 2005, Jack Nicklaus, arguably the greatest golfer in history, played his last competitive golf event, “The British Open”. Having given that notice, Jack played his last round on Friday. On the 18th hole, knowing this was it and after receiving standing ovations on every hole, Jack ran his last putt of approximately 20 ft. straight in the hole.
