“Jack’s Last Putt ” In 2005, Jack Nicklaus, arguably the greatest golfer in history, played his last competitive golf event, “The British Open”. Having given that notice, Jack played his last round on Friday. On the 18th hole, knowing this was it and after receiving standing ovations on every hole, Jack ran his last putt of approximately 20 ft. straight in the hole. This was one last statement to all from the Golden Bear, the greatest clutch putter in history. This canvas is hand signed by the artist. This image is reproduced from an original painting by Jim Fitzpatrick. The Artist: Jim Fitzpatrick’s lifelong passion for the game of golf drives nearly his every endeavor. This self-described golf artist and historian has painted golf scenes and players for more than 25 years.
